  • 1987 – Graduated from the Donetsk National University with a degree in Chemistry.
  • 1994 – PhD in Chemistry.
  • 1994 – present works at the Department of Biophysics and Physiology.
  • Teaches courses in Biophysics (sections “Kinetics of enzymatic processes”, “Mathematical models of biological systems”, “Thermodynamics of biological systems” and “Molecular biophysics”), “Systems Biology”, special courses “Biophysics of membrane processes”, “Mechanisms of intercellular communication”, “Statistical analysis in biology”.
  • Supervisor of master’s theses.
  • Has publications in more than 100 scientific articles and abstracts from the scientific conferences. An author of more than 20 educational and methodical textbooks.

Research interests

  • Biophysics of complex systems.
  • Mathematical modeling of metabolic networks. Theory of metabolic control.
